Why We Wanted To Offer Permanent Jewelry...
As soon as I saw the idea of Permanent Jewelry, I knew I had to bring it to our clients, for a few reasons. Our way of life around here is “making your life easier,” and Permanent Jewelry goes perfectly with that concept. A lot of women love wearing jewelry, but most women don’t love putting it on and taking it off everyday. Permanent Jewelry is the answer to that problem.
My grandfather, Stan was a jeweler. He owned a big rock shop with everything you could ever want in it. He handmade all kinds of jewelry from precious stones and metals from all over the world. Jewelry and stones are so important to my family. Offering Permanent Jewelry to my clients is so special to me because I get to be apart of what he use to do. I love that I’ll get to think of him often through this amazing service as well as continue to serve our community by making women’s lives easier.
This means so much to us that we’ve named each chain after someone special in our lives. We’ve named these chains after our moms, daughters, grandmas that have passed, sisters, sister in laws, friends, and clients.
We can't wait for you to experience this!

What is microblading?Microblading is a semi-permanent to permanent, manual method used to deposit pigment into the upper layer of the epidermis. Unlike traditional eyebrow tattooing, microblading is done with strokes to mimic the natural hair, giving you a very natural, fuller brow. Microblading allows the artist to correct, reconstruct, or enhance your natural eyebrow.
-
What is a powder brow?A powdered brow (also known as Foxy and Ombre Brow) is a technique that is considered to be semi-permanent to permanent. Powder brows help clients achieve more of a soft, powdered or ombre look instead of individual hair strokes. Powdered brows have a soft makeup look and work great for clients with oily or mature skin. We can customize your powder brow by how much we saturate the brow with pigment. If you want an extremely natural powder brow, we will saturate the brow little by little so that it looks more pixelated and soft. If you want your brows to look completely filled in and do not want to fill in your eyebrows, we will saturate the brow entirely.
-
How long does it last?Because pigments are not implanted deep into the skin, they will naturally fade overtime. microblading and powder brows typically lasts 1 to 2 years depending on your skin type (oily, dry, normal, age). Results are dependant upon how closely the post care instructions are followed. Everyone’s skin takes and holds the pigment differently. Avoiding sun exposure, exfoliating the skin, chemical peels, glycolic acid, retinol will help prolong the pigment.
-
How often do I need a touch-up / color boost? With microblading and powder brow, touch-ups/color boosts are recommended every 12-24 months to keep the integrity of the shape, the color fresh and the strokes crisp. 12-24 months qualifies for the touch up/color boost price. View our pricing page.
-
Does it hurt?A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area before and throughout the entire procedure. Most clients do not feel it at all once they are numb.
-
What should I do to prepare for the procedure?Leaving your eyebrows alone for a week, or longer if you wish (no tweezing, waxing or removing the hair) is preferred to see how your hair grows naturally. You may come to your appointment with or without makeup. Sometimes it helps to see how you like to draw on your eyebrows, but pictures will suffice as well. Once you have booked your appointment, view the pre procedure instruction page.
-
How long does the procedure take? The procedure takes about 1 and a half hours to complete. Please allow that time for the appointment. We likely won’t need that much time, but this isn’t something we want to rush.
-
What will I look like after the procedure?Your brows will appear darker and possibly bigger than expected for the first few days. The color and edges will gradually lighten up to 60% during the complete healing process. But you will not look drastically different than you did before. Most clients are shocked that it does not look like they had anything done at all. If you have sensitive skin, you can expect minor redness around the procedure area. But it's not common and will subside within a few hours to days.
-
Do I need to take a day off work? No. There is no downtime associated with this treatment. Redness will dissipate within an hour after (but it is normal for the area to be red and sore for a day up to a few days). Your brows will appear darker initially, but not so dark that you will be prevented from your activities of daily living.
-
How long does it take to heal?Healing time varies from individual to individual (usually about 7-14+ days).
-
What should I expect the day after my procedure?Permanent make-up is a two step process, consisting of a first session and then a perfecting session/touch-up done 8-12+ weeks after the first session. After we take your before pictures, we choose your custom brow color, administer the topical numbing cream to ensure comfort, do your consultation, talk about your brow likes and dislikes, and shape your eyebrows, and when we are 100% sure about the shape, we start microblading. *During the healing process, it’s normal to experience some pigment loss; this is why we have the perfecting session/touch-up in place. The process is considered to be complete 4 weeks after the touch-up.
-
Do I need a consultation before my procedure? No, your consultation will take place the day of the appointment.
-
What if I have already had my eyebrows microbladed or tattooed? Please contact us if you have your eyebrows tattooed by another artist. We will need to see pictures of your eyebrows. Please send us a full frontal view of your brows as well as any information you have regarding your last permanent make-up procedure.
-
How do we decide on an eyebrow shape?First, we take into account many things such as facial shape, facial features, facial measurements, and growth of your natural brow hair, then we take into account your likes and dislikes on brow shapes.
-
What does the shaping process look like?I use a method called Brow Mapping (See pictures and videos regarding brow mapping on my social media pages). This is a TEAM effort. We use a wax pencil and draw on your shape. I then have you sit up and we talk about what we see, then we continue to refine the shape until it’s exactly what you’re wanting. When we both agree, we start the process.
-
How do you know what color to use?We choose your custom color based on the natural color of your brow hair. I have many color options.
-
Is the perfecting session / touch-up necessary?YES! Microblading and Powder Brows are a two step process. Everyone’s skin heals and takes pigment differently and the outcome may vary. Your touch up session is where we add the final details to make your brows amazing! Depending on the client's skin, aftercare process and how it was or was not followed, rarely, but sometimes the client may need a third session. The client is responsible for the cost of a third session IF it is necessary.
-
What should I avoid after the procedure? You are advised to keep the skin clean and dry - that means no swimming, sweating, or otherwise getting the area wet; Avoid extreme heat and contaminated bodies of water (such as sauna, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, pools, lakes, and places with hot humidity) no tanning or prolonged sun exposure; no picking or peeling the tattoo. You can still wash your hair and face and once they’re healed up, you treat them as your own. After your appointment, we will talk about your after care.
-
What forms of payment are accepted for the service? We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. A processing fee will be added. Cash is also an accepted form of payment for services. We do not accept checks.
